not working, today

i am in just too good a mood. had a follow-up checkup at the endocrinologist’s this am. doing MUCH better. have lost 7 pounds and dropped my daily blood glucose levels by 60 points over the last two months. he actually gave me applause!

so, at the moment, i am celebrating with a little coffee at a friend’s house. not working. not even feeling guilty, either.

tomorrow is another grandboy duty day. so i won’t be doing much on ‘puters tomorrow, either. but FRIDAY! look out monstro! i’ve got to finish up, as there are matters pressing.

for instance:
tomorrow is payday. i haven’t even checked banking for the past week. i’m sure there are bills due, etc.
this weekend is the festival of arts at the culture center. i haven’t updated arlan’s website to show the playbill.
i really need to update my own site, as well.

and, i’m getting that creative bug, again. in an entirely new direction. for some reason, i really would like to try writing. more than “blogging” – i’d like to write some reviews, or even a (gasp) story! this is a really scary thought for me. could i possibly be capable of doing something like that?

maybe i’ll start by doing some new drawings. then write about them. that would be a lot of fun, i think.
