reflection

on the whole, it has been an interesting week. removing virus from clients’ machines, and swearing to kill any virus-writer i encounter. [at the very least - he'll hear a few choice words!]

nice conference call this evening. we confirmed we’re all on the same pages. i can start uploading as soon as i have the password. the rest of the changes are purely performance issues. replacements that will look the same, just work better. concentrating on the CGI scripts for the next few days.

got new pictures of the baby… WOW!

new software

just received the upgrades to studio MX! WOW! i’m really impressed and looking forward to using it. now, if i could just schedule the time to really learn it properly.

but, of course, i’m really really really busy watching a comedy and totally not concentrating on work. it looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day, and i just have to do a little needlework. and maybe i’ll get to take a nap, after i have an utterly delicious slurpee for lunch. my “day of decadence.”

busy weekend

not much accomplished, but busy just the same. nice long day with the grandbaby on saturday. edited a few photos, and prepped for a couple new pages. mostly just managed files.

working with meta tags, copyright images, and search engines this week. and, of course, my online classes. should be adventurous, and looking forward to new things!

bills

i posted another photo page, yesterday. finally figured out the trick to using CSS with those photos… load ‘em up and THEN position them. it pays to check them in different browsers, too; don’t forget to resize the windows, to see if the positions jump about!

so, today, i’m paying bills, and doing a little shopping if there’s any money left. i signed up for SmartCertify, yesterday. i really hope to get my money’s worth out of it. i hope that special someone doesn’t fly off the handle over it. it would certainly spoil the fun.

gratifying

late night, but i got so much more content posted! very happy with the look and feel of it. and she’s happy with it as well. planning on more photo work today. and the guestbook.

need to get cash for new software – about $300 should cover it. and then i get to concentrate on slowly but surely moving over to the pro licenses. if only macromedia were not so dang costly! and adobe is another one. at least they don’t upgrade as often as M$!

isn’t e-mail grand? i hadn’t heard from her by dinner on the 1st, so i reported new content by e-mail. spent saturday with the grandbaby and arrived home to find her response waiting. try THAT with fone-tag!

looking good, and i’m getting better ideas even as i write. back to the “grind” (coffee, that is) and the keyboard, too.
